Release - FA

I went back to some of my past sketches and chose Release to see if I can do a Fast Art on it.. boy - its hard ( for me) not to go over lines or rework things. 

Its not great - but this was my first attempt at it.

Inner Sanctum

This represents the peace found when turned inside - to ones own thoughts and feelings.

No Laughing Matter

This is an image I caught for one of my stories - no laughing matter - about poking fun at dying and cancer.  Well - thats cheery isn't it...

I was attempting to capture the line of this characters jaw as she tilted away - in a haughty, disinterested manner.  I think all I got was a squashed face.

Orgasmic Birth

 

I've just submitted an article to a birthing magazine on orgasmic birth - and blissful birthing, so played around with an image to go with it. For many people the thought of the two words - orgasmic and birthing - would seem worlds apart. Part of this image reflects that - the shame of feeling bliss in what essentially is a sexual act - that of birthing.

I think I should go and do some life drawing classes.  Trying to pull dimensions and angles from ones head and images are starting to become limiting.
