Hannah, Alex and Olaf  will feature in my sketches over the next few weeks.  There is also some alien life forms I am still struggling to get a grip with... watch this space.

Sci fi sketches

I have REALLY stepped out here and offered to assist an emerging writer - Nic Boardman with illustrations for his sci fi book ( currently being redrafted and edited.)

Over the next few weeks, I'll post up my initial sketches.. if the book sells millions, I've been promised lavish thanks and much praise.. ( ha ha) I'm just thrilled - and a bit scared - that I am even thinking of doing this.

I just hope its good enough...

School Girl Assassin

A little out of my comfort zone - but was also asked to illustrate a chapter in the Japanese Anthology with a schoolgirl assassin. Here is a mock up of my attempt to get the deadly innocence right.

Fox

have been asked to submit brushpainting for a Charity Anthology for Japan - so excited.  have been doing some sketches for the animal pages - here's my cute fox one.

Instagram

I've decided to move away from this blog for photos for my 365 day challenge and use Instagram.  Its an iphone app - brilliant - and it uploads straight to facebook and to twitter - if you want it to.

Its got a bunch of added fun things, including filters and finishes for photos.  - so please 'follow' me - either on Instagram itself - or on FB..

As far as my sketching and brushpainting goes.. I'll get back to it once CYOA has been finalised.. phew!
